Field of interests
The Centre’s staff covers different fields of karst hydrogeology as indicated in their CVs. The experts were worked on different projects for karstic groundwater utilization for drinking or irrigation purposes, groundwater balancing and resources assessment, karstic thermal water tapping for balneology or heating, groundwater protection, karst aquifer engineering regulation, prevention of losses from reservoirs built in karst, speleology and speleo diving, GIS applications, establishment of monitoring network, cavities recording, etc.
The list of executed projects by CKH is very long. Some of them were purely scientific while some were commercial and considered application in water practice.
